![]() ![]() So instead I’ve made two lists of what I want to do more of and what I want to do less of. because inevitably you just get mad at yourself when you don’t achieve these goals. I don’t really agree with the concept, I personally believe the best time to make changes is at any time- why wait until the new year? I also wanted to avoid cliches like “start running at 6am everyday”, “loosing weight”, “quit drinking alcohol” etc. The next page is a little twist on New Year’s Resolutions. This is pretty handy to do for any big events or projects so everything is in one place and you have a constant reminder of what needs doing- a kick up the bum in paper form, if you will. with the final deadline of March 14th (gulp) I’ve added two little sections to add to in the next couple of months, to keep all my meetings and mini to-dos for this huge task. I have a key for colours resembling different events (deadlines, birthdays, holidays, etc) from the previous monthly overview which I need to add to this, just giving an overall idea for the next coming months.Įvery couple of months, I’ve been adding a Dissertation update page to my journal to keep tabs on what needs doing as it’s an on-going stress and requires lots of work. The first pages are setting up the calendar for the next few months (I go up to September as I prefer an academic year layout, just because it’s what I’m used to) and good to flip to when I’m planning things. SECOND DISCLOSURE: The lighting is absolutely terrible (thanks to the December mid-day lack of lighting) so the pictures aren’t great quality, but I’m still learning the ways of blog photos (and the British weather is really not helping) I also want to stay on track with my uni work and ensure I’m getting up earlier and seizing the day (aka not staying in bed till 10.30am every day) So this post goes into my BuJo (bullet journal slang- yeah its a thing) set up for the new year! The month of January is super busy for me, so requires lots of planning and meeting deadlines as well as getting back on track in terms of my food and exercise which took a looong break over christmas. This is going to be a long post, so grab some tea and your nearest pens and let’s start planning for the new year- I’ve got a good feeling about 2019… I love how its everything for me in one place my deadlines, to-dos, little notes-to-self and even a food and drink for each day. I keep my bullet journal open on my desk and each evening, I spend time crossing off my to do list and planning for the days ahead. DISCLOSURE: I am not an artist, far from it! My bullet journal is messy and not Pinterest perfect like most peoples’, however I don’t mind, its only really me reading it. The fountain pen I’m using glides so well that I forget it’s a fountain pen! **** NOTE: I will post more pages as the month progresses.I’ve been bullet journaling for about a year now, so I’ve spent time fiddling around and finding what format and style suits me. It’s actually easier to write in cursive than in print (at least for me). I fell in love with cursive writing since I started in November last year. Does that make sense? Maybe the photos will explain it better?! □ Here’s a few pages I’ve completed. I also decided on journaling one page a day with a colored border for each page. ![]() So I wanted a visual representation and an actual plan to make me post more regularly. This is because I noticed that I post sporadically and sometimes weeks go by without posting anything. So basically I will write down what I plan on posting in these boxes (and adjust if needed) and then ultimately, I will print out the actual photos of what I had posted on Instagram. This month’s calendar is a gradient of greens and it will be used as my Instagram post planner. A post shared by Serendipity and Bliss □□ overall theme is color gradients, if I could call it that!□ My cover page is pretty simple: stamped bold letters for the month title and a gradient of purples to fill the entire page.
